TATIANA LOVERDOU & DANSARTE

What better way to begin than by surrendering to the experienced hands of Tatiana Loverdou and her school, Dansarte. With decades of expertise in contemporary dance, she and her team invite us into a kinetic reflection on time – using the body’s language to take us on a journey beyond words.

About Dansarte

Tatiana Loverdou, born in Patras, is a choreographer and movement educator with a distinguished international background. She studied pre-professionally in Athens at Leonidas de Pian’s school while completing her studies at the University of Macedonia. She is a graduate of the Despina Grigoriadou Professional Dance School and a Fulbright Scholar, having trained extensively in the U.S. in Body-Mind Centering®, where she became a certified Practitioner and Somatic Movement Educator.
Her work blends contemporary dance, yoga, somatic practices, and choreographic composition, with appearances and collaborations spanning Patras, Athens, London, New York, and Chiang Mai. Since founding her own company in 1990 — and later Dansarte in 2008 — she has created a unique space that combines dance education and cultural programming. She teaches daily, curates seminars, and leads the professional dance school she founded — the first of its kind in Western Greece — aiming to foster a permanent professional dance ensemble through education, research, and community.
